导出博客文章With Astralis already securing its spot in ELeagues Counter-Strike: Global
Offensive Season 2 playoffs, earning a big upset win over SK Gaming Friday
night, there was only one spot still left to win from Group C. That spot was
secured by SK Gaming in one of the best series of the season to date. The day
started out with Natus Vincere facing off against Alternate aTTaX in what was
more of a formality than anything. No one on the analyst desk or the casting
chairs thought that Alternate had any shot in this series. After it took the
opening pistol round on Cobblestone, it looked like maybe the team would prove
everyone wrong. But then NaVi joined the party and pushed Alternate aside. NaVi
would take the first map by an incredibly one-sided score of 16-3.The second
game on Overpass would prove to be a bit closer, but NaVi still didnt leave much
up to chance. It would take the map 16-8 to move on to face SK Gaming in the
Group C decider match. The stage was set for what was sure to be quite the
closely contested series. The old rivals would be meeting once again to see
which one would follow Astralis into the playoffs of ELeague Season 2. In the
first halves of both games, the audience was treated to a true tug-of-war
between two of the best teams in Counter-Strike today. In the second half of
each series, however, it was one team exerting its dominance on the other.SK
enjoyed a 9-6 lead in Game 1 on Dust 2 before going 7-2 in the second half to
take the first map pretty handily. Gabriel FalleN Toledo and his AWP was the
main catalyst for his team, racking up an impressive 24/11 Kills/Deaths and
106.7 Average Damage per Round (ADR) in the game. Game 2 on SKs favorite map of
Train didnt get off to the best start for the Brazilian squad. It was NaVi that
came out the gate hot this time. NaVi enjoyed a 5-0 lead to start and an 8-7
lead at the half before SK came roaring back. The team went 9-0 in the second
half to take the map and show everyone that its still got what it takes to play
dominant Counter-Strike.With just one group yet to be decided, the ELeague
Season 2 playoffs are rounding into shape. So far, in addition to SK and
Astralis, Virtus.pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas, mousesports and FaZe Clan have secured
spots in the playoffs. Group D action kicks off next Friday, November 18 at 6:00

. PETERSBURG, Fla. GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 6 Gators hit above
.350 for the seventh consecutive match and tied their season high of nine
service aces in a sweep of South Carolina on Friday (Nov. 11), extending their
winning streak to 11, sweep streak to seven, and giving them a half-game lead in
the SEC standings. This is the first time since 2003 the Gators hit above .350 in
seven straight matches. The 2003 Gators, who played for the national title and
were the last UF team to reach the NCAA Semifinals, registered a clip of .350 or
better in eight matches (Sep. 20-Oct. 12).Junior libero Caroline Knop
spearheaded UFs effective serving night with six aces. Knop joins Mackenzie
Dagostino (Sep. 19, 2014) as the only other Gator since 2012 with six-plus
service aces in a match. The Pasadena, Calif. native is also the first Gator
    since Kristy Jaeckel (2011) to post six-plus aces in a three-set match.Florida
enjoyed yet another solid paassing night as well, with redshirt sophomore Allie
Monserez racking up 40 assists and helping four Gators-Rhamat Alhassan, Alex
Holston, Rachael Kramer, Carli Snyder-notch at least eight
kills.ddddddddddddHolston tallied a match-high 11 kills, marking the fifth time
in UFs last six matches she finished with at least 10. Snyder was the only other
Gator to reach double figures, logging 10 kills for her 17th match with
double-digit kills this year.Florida scored the first five points in set one to
race to a 25-13 opening-set victory, which featured five of the teams nine aces.
Set two saw both teams make runs to tie the match at 18-18, though the Gators
stiffened defensively and took seven of the final nine points. UF built a 16-8
lead in the clinching set before closing out a 25-15 win. ' ' '
