    Regina snowboarder Mark McMorris is in the running for one of ESPNs ESPY Awards; the Best Male Action Sports Athlete category. McMorris bumped snowboard rival Shaun White, who has won the award six times including five consecutive years from 2008-2012, out of the nomination for the award this year. Should McMorris win the category, the 19-year-old would become the first Canadian athlete to do so.
