tackle Lane Johnson?for violating the leagues performance-enhancing drug policy
for a second time. Were very disappointed that Lane Johnson has been suspended 10
games. His actions have affected the entire organization, Eagles vice president
Howie Roseman said in a statement. We are all working under a clearly-defined
set of rules and regulations set forth by the NFL in the collective bargaining
agreement with the NFLPA.Moving forward, he has no choice but to hold himself
accountable to Jeffrey Lurie, Coach [Doug] Pederson and his staff, his
teammates, and to the entire organization and our fans. When he returns from
suspension, we will continue to support him and welcome him back to the team. We
are moving on with our preparations for this weeks game in Washington.Johnson,
who has criticized the NFLPA regarding supplement use, had been eligible to play
through the appeals process. He had a hearing last week at the NFLs New York
office. The suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to return to the
Eagles active roster on Dec. 19 following the teams game against the Baltimore
Ravens. We are disappointed with Arbitrator James Carters summary ruling,
Johnsons attorney Steve Zashin said. We will wait for his formal written
opinion. After we review that decision, we will consider all available legal
options. The Eagles plan to start rookie Halapoulivaati Vaitai at right tackle
against the Redskins this week. The Eagles drafted Johnson, a 303-pound tackle
from Oklahoma, with the No. 4 pick in the 2013 NFL draft.?He signed a five-year,
$56 million contract in the offseason that included a $10 million signing bonus
and $35.5 million guaranteed. His base salary for this season is $675,000, so he
has to forfeit $421,875. The suspension also nullifies his guaranteed
money.Johnson was suspended for four games in 2014 after he tested positive for
a banned substance. Johnson said he had taken a prescribed medication without
checking with the Eagles medical staff.ESPNs Tim McManus, Ed Werder and Field
    Yates contributed to this report.

All of the video replays we were shown on TV were inconclusive about whether the

pinpoint a date, but I do remember a player from my youth. Brian Downing was
with the Chicago White Sox at a time when I listened to every game I possibly

    calling the White Sox games.

Anaheim GM Bob Murray said earlier this season he was not going to trade
Jonas Hiller despite the fact hes an unrestricted free agent on July 1, some
sources have told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun that Murray might be willing
to move another goalie.Chris Kirkland says the Football Association should look
no further than Gareth Southgate in its search for a successor to Sam Allardyce.
Southgate is favourite for the England managers job following a period in
caretaker charge during which the national side remained unbeaten after four
matches. Sky Sports Black Friday sale Upgrade to Sky Sports now and get 12

for England and figured in a number of squads alongside Southgate, is convinced
the governing body already has the ideal man for the job. Speaking to Sky Sports
News HQ, he said: The way he has conducted himself over the last few weeks - on
and off the pitch - has been superb. And, for me, the FA has to give him the
job. It makes a mockery of the whole system if they dont. He has been Under-21
manager and that is the whole thing about progression. Kirkland says Southgate
has been superb since taking up temporary charge of England He has stepped up
these last four games, is unbeaten and has played some good football. So he has
to get the job. He has proved himself. Everyone says you should go for more
experience but we have been down that route before and it has not panned out.I
dont see what else he can do. If he doesnt get the job it just makes it a bit of
a laughing stock. Southgate had his interview for the England job at St Georges
Park Former Middlesbrough boss Southgate was interviewed by a five-man FA panel
on Monday and is expected to be offered the position in the coming
