the Revs finally change the script against Real Salt Lake this season?The
Revolution (5-7-7) have never beaten Salt Lake in Rio Tinto Stadium and last won
in Utah in 2007. Until last seasons 4-0 victory at Gillette Stadium, New England
endured a seven-match winless streak against RSL.If there ever was a perfect
chance to reverse Reals dominance in the series, this might be it.Momentum
definitely favors the Revolution. New England beat the Columbus Crew 3-1 last
weekend to snap a three-game losing streak. Midfielder Lee Nguyen scored in the
third minute -- the quickest any New England player has scored this season --
and forward Kei Kamara added an insurance goal in the 71st minute.Both players
could give a struggling Real Salt Lake defense some problems. Nguyen has five
goals and seven assists in 2016. Kamara has three goals in eight games since the
Revolution acquired him from Columbus in a trade in May.Salt Lake (8-6-5) has
struggled since mid-June, winning once in its past six matches. RSL is still
unbeaten at home through eight matches but has had back-to-back draws at home.
Several players who sat out Wednesdays 2-0 loss to Vancouver should be available
against New England.A couple of Real Salt Lake players could hit important
milestones this weekend. Forward Yura Movsisyan needs one goal to tie his season
career high in MLS. Movsisyan already has seven goals this season.If Real Salt
Lake wins, Nick Rimando will move into a tie with Kevin Hartman for most wins
(180) by a goalkeeper in MLS history.
